Our opinion is, " Labradors are the greatest breed of dogs on earth"  and our goal is to see that every single one of them grow up in a loving and responsible home. We do not allow our puppies or dogs to be kenneled 24/7

The Scarleys principal is to breed healthy  Labradors with the true labrador temperament with retrieving abilities, and good physical conformation.
All our dogs, as soon as they are old enough, have their hips and elbows X-rayed. Their eyes  are tested annually and they are DNA tested through Optigen or Laboklin for GPRA if they are not already free through parentage.

Please note, that regardless to all the tests that the parents have passed, we can never garantee the good health of any animal, it is not all a case of genetics. Feeding , excercise and the puppy's bringing up plays a decisive role along with nature its self.

We breed for the breed and not for the colour!! Although we also have chocolates, our puppies are sold for their qualities and the price does not vary because of their colour.

We are a serious registered breeders with big hearts. We are very particular about giving our puppies only to very best of homes. We are honest and outspoken people and we are looking for the same type of persons for our puppies.  If something does`t turn out to be, how it should be, will have no hesitations in reconsidering our decision to sell.

Please don`t forget that those cute little puppies will reach a weight of 30 to 38 Kg, when they are grown up.
They make puddles and poohs on the floor at the beginning. If you don`t put your shoes out of reach they will chew them or somethingeven more valueable.

They need to go out reguarly for walks every day ( as a puppy just very short ones) what ever the weather.
They need enviromental and social experiences to develope and they will come home muddy and wet if they have had a good time out in the garden.
If your beautiful floors at home are slippery, it is best to cover them with old carpets or PVC, as puppy joints are very soft and can be damaged through slipping.
Your chintz Sofa should be covered with an old blanket, because at sometime you`ll come home and discover it covered with dogs hairs. They may dig holes in the garden big enough to bury a bucket in it.
When they get older they  need some sort of interesting activity to satisfy they minds as well as ther need for exercise.
We expect you to securely fence your garden or a part of it for the puppy/dog.

After meeting you and /your family personally ,we bring our puppies to their new homes when ever possible, even abroad.

Our puppies buyers can rely on us for a dogs lifetime support. We accompany and guide all our puppy/dog buyers what ever the problem is. We assist where ever we can.

We offer free Puppy School for all locally sold puppies both in Ireland and in the Stuttgart area in Germany. Our puppy school is an important part of the week. Not only for the puppies who have the chance to socialize with other puppies in a safe enviroment, but also for the new owners who have the  chance to check their progress and correct any problem that might have arised. All puppy owners have questions and worry at times if they are doing the right things at the right time.  It also gives me the  chance to see the developement of each puppy indivdually. We are very careful to educate the puppies without force. Puppy school is like kindergarten for dogs lots of love and affection in learning how life is and the rules that are needed to live in harmony with their families.

A well behaved dog is welcome almost everywhere!
